Case study

Minetek

A premium brand foundation that makes a mining equipment company impossible to mistake for its competitors.

The brief

The challenge

Mining equipment marketing has a look: conservative, functional, and largely interchangeable. Minetek’s brief pushed against all of it. The company’s ambition, in its own words, was to become the “Apple of mining equipment”: a brand people in the industry recognise, prefer and pay attention to, in a category where branding is usually an afterthought.

That’s a brief, not a boast, and a genuinely hard one. Premium design in an industrial category fails if it costs the brand its credibility with the engineers and site managers who buy the gear.

Delivery

Premium without losing the hard hats

The foundation had to hold two things at once: serious about the engineering, confident enough to look different from every competitor’s brochure.

Brand strategy

Industrial credibility, modern confidence

We built the brand foundation on strong industrial credibility carried by clean, modern, premium design, a position competitors can’t occupy by adding another photo of a truck.

Visual identity

One system, every touchpoint

A cohesive visual identity rolled out across the website, digital advertising creative and marketing collateral, so the brand shows up the same way at a trade site, in a search result or in a capability document.

Web Design

A website that matches the equipment

The website presents Minetek’s solutions with the same engineering seriousness as the machines themselves: premium, precise and unmistakably Minetek.

What’s next

A foundation, not a facelift

Every future campaign now builds on the same foundation instead of starting from scratch. That’s the test of brand work in an industrial category: not whether it wins design awards, but whether it keeps paying for itself every time something new ships.
